Diabetes diet: Foods for Beating Diabetes

Normal sugar levels

Fasting blood sugar level  -72 to 108 mg/dL

 Post lunch 2 hours after eating 140 mg/dL

HbA1C- less than 5.7 % in Non-Diabetic and less than 7% in Diabetics

CONTROL OVER DIET AND REGULAR EXERCISES CAN HELP KEEP DIABETES UNDER CONTROL WITH REGULAR MEDICATIONS.

Foods you can consume

Put these fruits at the core of your diet like Apple, Raspberries, Cranberries, Blueberries.

Eat plenty of non-starchy vegetables, such as broccoli, spinach, Beef and green beans to your diet.

Take healthy monounsaturated fat content like Avocados.

Eat more seafood including fish.

Low-calorie Drinks, Coffee, black or with added low-fat milk, cold tea with lemon or a cinnamon.

High-fiber and protein content: Nuts, Walnuts, Seeds, Oatmeal.
